Pace Maker

For seven years I have been having problems with my heart racing and feeling as though it would stop, fill up, and race again. I had been to my family doctor many times over these seven years. He would have all kinds of tests performed and state that yes, there was something going on with my heart but he could not pen it down. (Never sending me to a cardiologist.) I was having real weak spells and feeling as though I was about to pass out. As they worsened, I would go back to my doctor only to receive the same asnswers that I had received previously. "CAN'T PEN IT DOWN". When it reached the point that I was not able to see for a few seconds and could not get my breath for a few moments, I decided that to save my life and those who may be in the car with me when these little eppisodes happened, I had better find a cardiologist myself. (Let me interject this at this point. Everytime one of these spells happened and I knew that I was on my way out, I just spoke the name of JESUS over and over. HE always pulled me out!!) I went to a cardiologist that was recomended to me by a friend who is an RN and works with this specialist. The first visit he found some of the problem. I had a LEFT BUNDLE BRANCH BLOCK. Tests were run for three days and at the end of the 3rd day (after wearing the halter monitor for 24 hrs.) my doctor told me that I needed a Pace Maker installed as soon as possible. That was around 4:00 PM and by 9:00 AM the next day I had my Pace Maker. This was on the 7th of June this year. So I have had my Pace Maker about a month and 1/2. I have had three minor weak spells that lasted maybe 1/2 -1 second. Before, my heart was skipping 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 seconds. At one point while wearing the monitor, it skipped 11 beats and that was not the worst one by any means. It just happened to be the worst while wearing the monitor. Since I have had the Pace Maker I have had more energy but I still get short of breath very easy. I thank God for leading me to one of "HIS" welled trained medical miracles.
