I would like to know if anyone viewed a documentary recently on television, wherein a teenage boy whose heart was shot with a nail gun and damage done to 1/3 or more of his heart, received stem cells and his heart rejuvinated his own muscle tissue. His EF went to normal with this regrowth. I wanted to read more about this topic and story of this individual, yet cannot find the story or information on this case anywhere on the internet. This procedure was done in the USA for the first time, and I believe the teen received his own blood/cells that caused the regeneration of his heart tissue. The implications of this sucessful case is great. I would like to find information on this medical case if anyone has any information. Thank you.
